Deanna Tomasetta, known as “Dee”, is a twenty-three-year-old Massachusetts native who has trained for twenty years in numerous styles of dance. She has studied with many of the industry's leading choreographers including Mia Michaels, Brian Thomas, Nick Kenkel, and Danielle Flora, and trained in professional programs such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Boston Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Parsons Dance Company, and the Paul Taylor Dance Company. A 2011 recipient of the Gaynor Minden Dance Major Scholarship, Dee graduated early from the University of Michigan where she studied dance, voice, and acting, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Dee was featured on So You Think You Can Dance as a Top 15 female finalist in Season 10 (2013.) Dee has worked and traveled with choreographer Mia Michaels as her assistant on numerous projects including So You Think You Can Dance, Joffrey Ballet, and Mia Michaels LIVE. In addition to dancing, Dee has modeled for MAC Cosmetics, Capezio, Edgy Dancewear, and Hasbro Products USA. Dee most recently has been seen dancing for REEBOK’s New York Fashion Week, AUDI Global Launch Event in Shanghai, China, Musical Artist DUMBLONDE: Aubrey O’day and Shannon Bex, and Gillette/Venus dance commercials.
Dee’s performance credits include “Saturday Night Live”, “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon”, “Americas Got Talent”, Mystic India: The World Tour, Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre, and iKADA Dance Company. Dee continues to share her knowledge, love, and passion for dance teaching at various dance schools throughout the country. She currently resides in New York City pursuing her career as a professional dancer, as well as a personal trainer at AKT in Motion. Dee Tomasetta will be starring in the ensemble in the Radio City New York Spectacular premiering this June 2016 at Radio City Music Hall. Dee is honored to share her passion with others through an outlet that allows all to inspire and aspire.
